Long Island Cares proudly offers Just Say Yes to Fruits and Vegetables (JSY) nutrition education workshops and demos to support our Member Agencies in better serving the community.
JSY is New York’s leading nutrition program specifically designed for individuals participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
Our workshops are designed to prevent obesity and reduce the long-term risks of chronic diseases by promoting increased consumption of fruits and vegetables. They are custom-tailored to meet the unique needs of our agencies.
